Alexander Moore joins artist Nika Neelova just days before the opening of Gyre at The Bomb Factory in Holborn, London. Walking through the exhibition together, they explore memory, material transformation and the traces of human presence.
From whales, ancient trees and disappearing glass to childhood, mortality and the physical act of making, Nika reveals the histories carried by salvaged handrails and unwanted lampshades—and how everyday objects find new lives as sculpture.
Gyre is at The Bomb Factory, Holborn, until 20 September 2026.

Alexander Moore speaks with French-Polish photographer and artist Nicolas Grospierre about photography, architecture, illusion and perception—from modernism, brutalism and Borges to heliograms, the camera obscura and artificial intelligence.
Nicolas also discusses his fascination with overlooked buildings and a recent body of work in which the sun becomes both the subject of the photograph and the instrument that creates it.
