Who you are buying from
Artworld Books is a trading name of Artworld Projects Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC816222. Our registered office, correspondence and returns address is 23 Sandport Gait, Kinross, Perth and Kinross, KY13 8FB, United Kingdom.
For orders, cancellations or complaints, email info@artworld-projects.com or write to that address. These terms apply to purchases of physical books through our shop.
Ordering and payment
Choose your books, add them to your basket, then review the quantities, delivery address and total at checkout. You can correct errors before submitting payment. Orders are placed in English. Payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you order, including for pre-orders.
We acknowledge your order by email. Your contract with us is formed when we confirm acceptance of the order by email. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund any payment taken. If you notice an error after ordering, contact us promptly.
Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT-registered and do not charge UK VAT. The checkout shows the price of the books, delivery and total payable to us before you pay.
Delivery charges
Orders dispatch from the United Kingdom using tracked delivery. Delivery costs £4 to the United Kingdom, £12 to Europe, £16 to the United States and £17 to other available destinations.
Delivery is charged once per order. Additional titles or copies in the same basket do not increase that charge, including when books are dispatched separately.
We do not currently deliver to Afghanistan, Belarus, DR Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine or Yemen. The delivery-country selector shows available destinations.
Dispatch and pre-orders
In-stock books normally dispatch within 2–4 working days. Working days exclude weekends and UK public holidays. Dispatch is when the parcel leaves us, not its arrival date. Transit time depends on the destination and carrier.
Availability and expected pre-order dispatch dates are given on individual product pages. Titles with different release dates are dispatched separately according to those schedules, with no additional delivery charge for the same order.
We deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the order unless a later delivery period has been agreed with you, including a pre-order schedule disclosed before purchase. If a delay affects your order, we will contact you. You retain your legal rights if delivery is late, and you can cancel a pre-order before dispatch.
For deliveries outside the UK, import taxes, duties or carrier clearance fees may be payable under the destination country’s rules. These charges, where applicable, are not included in our prices or postage and are payable by the recipient. Treatment of books varies by country; check local requirements before ordering.
We remain responsible for the books until you or a person you nominate takes physical possession, unless you independently arrange a carrier we have not offered. Contact us if a parcel is missing or damaged.
Cancellations, returns and consumer rights
Our Returns, cancellations and refunds policy explains how to cancel, return books and obtain a refund, and includes a cancellation form. It forms part of these terms.
We must supply books that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Complaints and your information
Please send complaints to info@artworld-projects.com, including your order reference and the issue so we can investigate and respond. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
You can save or print these terms and the returns policy. Changes made later do not retrospectively change an existing order without your agreement. Mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence are not removed by these terms.
