Returns, cancellations and refunds
These terms apply to consumer purchases from Artworld Projects Ltd, trading as Artworld Books. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC816222. Changing your mind
You can cancel without giving a reason, from placing your order until 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receives the books. For one order delivered in separate parts, this period runs from receipt of the last item. Pre-orders can also be cancelled before dispatch.
Tell us by email or post before that period ends. You may use the form below, but any clear statement of cancellation is sufficient. Please include your order number if available. Send the books back within 14 days after telling us.
You pay the direct return postage for a change-of-mind return. Pack the books securely; original packaging is helpful but not compulsory. Keep proof of posting. You may inspect the books as you would in a shop. We may deduct a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Your refund
If you cancel the whole order, we refund the book price and the standard outbound delivery charge. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we refund the cost of our least expensive standard service. For a partial return, the delivery charge is refunded only to the extent it would have been lower for the items you keep.
We refund without undue delay using the original payment method, with no refund fee. Where goods have been sent, the deadline is 14 days after we receive them back or receive evidence that you returned them, whichever is earlier. If no goods were supplied, the deadline is 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect books
Books must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Contact us if something is wrong. Your statutory remedies may include rejection and a refund within the initial 30-day period, or repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund afterward, depending on the circumstances. We cover reasonable return costs where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect. These rights are separate from the change-of-mind deadline above and are not limited by this policy.
